Job Description:
As a Senior Recruiter at AstroForge, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top-tier talent to support our technical and operational teams. You will collaborate directly with hiring managers and leadership to define staffing requirements, implement effective sourcing methodologies, and build a strong candidate pipeline. We're looking for someone with a strong technical understanding, outstanding communication abilities, and a genuine drive to link exceptional professionals with impactful careers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment, from initial sourcing through offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define staffing needs and craft compelling job descriptions that align with AstroForge's mission.
- Source and attract top talent using diverse methods, including online platforms, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Assess candidate qualifications, technical skills, experience, and cultural fit through effective interviews and evaluations.
- Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams, gathering and analyzing feedback to inform decisions.
- Cultivate strong candidate relationships, keeping them engaged, and represent AstroForge at industry events to build talent pipelines and enhance employer branding.
- Partner with the leadership team and hiring managers to develop innovative recruitment strategies, provide guidance on best practices, and track key metrics to optimize hiring effectiveness.
General Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a recruiter, ideally within the aerospace or mining sectors.
- Demonstrated understanding of scientific and technical concepts, enabling effective assessment of candidate qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage numerous requisitions, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment and selection.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Ability to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA.
Preferred Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a hard science discipline, such as aerospace or engineering.
- 2+ years as a technical recruiter.

- $120,000 - $165,000

ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
