Company Overview

Kairos Power is a new nuclear energy technology and engineering company whose mission is to enable the world’s transition to clean energy, with the ultimate goal to dramatically improve people’s quality of life while protecting the environment. This goal will be accomplished through the commercialization of the fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR) that can be deployed with robust safety, affordable costs, and flexible operation to accommodate the expansion of variable renewables.

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and creative Digital Manager to oversee the planning, creation and distribution of content across our corporate social media channels, company blog and website. As a Digital Manager, you will lead the development of communications that connect stakeholders with Kairos Power’s mission, documenting the company’s progress in deploying advanced reactor technology and positioning the brand as a leader in a rapidly evolving industry. This role will be responsible for maintaining our brand voice, ensuring content quality and driving audience engagement through consistent, relevant and impactful storytelling.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement content strategies aligned with the company’s marketing and brand.
  • Maintain a content calendar for Kairos Power’s social media channels, blog and website.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to source stories, updates and subject matter.
  • Stay apprised of industry trends, market conditions and relevant policy to contextualize Kairos Power’s commercial strategy and development approach.

Content Creation & Editing

  • Write, edit and proofread high-quality, engaging copy for social media, blog posts, web pages, videos, and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with photographers and videographers to generate compelling visuals for digital.
  • Ensure all communications align with brand tone, style guidelines and SEO best practices.
  • Adapt content for different formats and channels, optimizing for each.

Publishing & Distribution

  • Manage publishing schedules across multiple digital platforms.
  • Upload, format and publish content to the company blog and website using CMS.
  • Oversee social media posting and scheduling using relevant management.

Engagement & Optimization

  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies.
  • Respond to comments, messages and community interactions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in digital content, social media and SEO to continuously improve.

Additional duties:

  • Plan and execute targeted digital campaigns to support recruitment, corporate announcements or product launches.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of content standards, workflows and approval processes.
  • Produce regular reports on content performance, insights and recommendations for leadership review.
  • Monitor and manage digital channels during sensitive or high-visibility situations in coordination with Communications leadership.
  • Collaborate with external creative or digital marketing partners when applicable to execute campaigns or produce specialized content.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital content creation, social media management or related roles.
  • Strong portfolio of social media, blog posts and other branded content reflecting a mastery of digital storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical information and communicate it to a lay audience.
  • Proven writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow, WordPress) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and digital analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, native social analytics).
  • Experience in corporate communications or brand management within a technical or regulated industry (e.g., energy, engineering, technology) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with visual storytelling, multimedia content production and brand management principles.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities across multiple digital formats.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and apply insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to strategically plan, execute and optimize digital content initiatives.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and engagingly.
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency while tailoring content for diverse platforms and audiences.
  • Ability to think creatively and identify innovative ways to enhance digital reach and engagement.
  • Ability to measure ROI and key performance indicators for digital campaigns.
  • Skill in change management and adapting communication approaches based on audience feedback or business priorities.
  • Understanding of compliance and reputational risk management in digital communications.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards for digital content (WCAG).

Physical Demands
