The Role

We’re looking for a versatile and driven IT Engineer to play a critical role in the growth and modernization of our global IT operations. This position goes beyond day-to-day support — the ideal candidate will actively contribute to a number of strategic initiatives, including integrating core data systems, enhancing our identity and device management frameworks, and helping stand up the IT infrastructure and operations at our new India office.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient technology environments across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building from the ground up, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain identity and access systems (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Active Directory).

  • Ensure role-based access controls (RBAC), single sign-on (SSO), and MFA policies are implemented and optimized.

  • Conduct regular access reviews and support security and compliance audits.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement security best practices across systems and networks.

  • Harden endpoints, servers, and networking devices against vulnerabilities.

  • Monitor for potential threats and support incident response activities.

  • Maintain patch management and vulnerability scanning processes.

  • Deploy, manage, and secure mobile and endpoint devices via MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF, or similar).

  • Enforce compliance policies and support zero-touch provisioning.

  • Manage device lifecycles and maintain hardware/software inventories.

  • Support and maintain networking components including firewalls, switches, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.

  • Contribute to planning and standing up infrastructure in our new India office.

  • Troubleshoot network issues and assist in scaling global network operations.

  • Support projects focused on integrating internal systems and data platforms.

  • Ensure interoperability, security, and reliability between connected services and APIs.

  • Deliver timely and effective support to internal users across platforms (Windows, macOS, mobile).

  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and maintain user documentation.

  • Participate in asset management, procurement, and IT inventory tracking.

About You

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT engineering or support roles.

  • Strong working knowledge of identity platforms (Azure AD, Okta, AD).

  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools (Microsoft Intune, JAMF, VMware Workspace ONE, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).

  • Proven ability to support and manage service desk operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk) is a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
